Strawman Tales

Strawman Tales run steep and wide,

Exaggerations sparked by pride,

To tear a man from limb to limb with voices sweet as saccharine.

Strawman Tales are woven well,

Send a common man to hell,

With details of imaginary sin,

Monster tales spark fear within.

It roles the plot hyperbole.

All the while drives lambs away.

Through the dawn of Love and Light,

Father’s strength comes streaming in,

Giving sorrow wings for flight.

So here wherein we behold,

Lamb of God, Heart of gold,

Gathers all into His fold,

He guides the scattered home.

If you be a common man, be a little lamb.

Be a little lamb with a vast treasure trove of golden words

Stored within your heart library.

Although you wander hill and dale, your path will be a safe one.
